Founding Partner, Chief Investment Officer
Robert founded Scarlet Macaw Capital in 2024 and serves as the CEO and CIO. He has fifteen years of buyside experience, of which the last 10 were spent managing long-short equity portfolios at blue chip hedge funds. He was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Millennium Capital, which he joined from BlueCrest Capital. Prior to BlueCrest Capital, he worked as a Portfolio Manager at Visium UK. He joined Visium UK after managing the Magna Turkey Fund at Charlemagne Capital, a London-based Global Emerging Markets investment firm. Prior to Charlemagne Capital, Robert was an Analyst at Select Equity Group, an Equity Long Short hedge fund. Before joining the buyside, Robert spent nine years as an EMEA Equity Analyst at Citigroup. Robert holds a Masters in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins and graduated with a Bachelors in History from Reed College. Robert speaks eight languages and was formerly a Wall Street Journal reporter.
Partner, Executive Chairman
Andy has over 25 years of financial markets experience in Hedge Funds, Investment Banks and Institutional Asset Management. His career started at Gartmore Investment Management before moving to UBS and then JP Morgan. At JP Morgan he became the Global Head of Equities for the Principal Positioning Business. In this role he created and managed a multi-manager Global Long/Short Equity business. He also directly managed a London/New York based Equity Volatility business, a Global Convert Arbitrage Fund, and an Asian Multi-Strategy Equity, whilst also being a member of the JP Morgan Senior Management team. His Hedge Fund career started at a small Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund in London before becoming the Founding Partner of Visium Asset Management UK where he oversaw the build out of another successful multi-manager equity team. It is in this role that he first hired Robert Bonte-Friedheim to manage the current Equity Market Neutral strategy in EMEA markets. Andrew holds an MA and a First Class BA (Hons) from Oxford University.

Praveen has over 20 years of experience in Operations, Risk, and Compliance at various hedge funds. Prior to joining Scarlet Macaw Capital LLP, he served as a Managing Director at Trium Capital, where he managed the Trium Multi Strategy UCITS Fund. Before joining Trium, Praveen helped manage the Diversified Return Fund at RWC, overseeing operations, risk, and compliance for the fund. Praveen joined RWC following the acquisition of Agilis Investment Management, where he was a Partner with oversight of operations, risk, and compliance. Prior to co-founding Agilis, he served in senior roles at EntrustPermal, where he helped launch single manger hedge funds on the firm’s ICAV platform, and at Fauchier Partners. Praveen holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Jeronimo was previously an Analyst at Queen's Tower Capital. Prior to Queen's Tower Capital, he spent two years as an Investment Strategist at Alpha Quantum, working with clients in EM markets. Jeronimo holds a Bachelors from Tec de Monterrey in Mexico and a Masters from Imperial College Business School.

Tom is a business leader who brings nearly 20 years of experience at Millennium Partners, where he served as a Managing Director and Head of Trading. At Millennium, he led trading growth and expanded the firm across Europe and the Middle East. Today, he serves as an executive coach to hedge fund leaders, guiding executives through the complexities of growth, change, and strategic navigation with a focus on critical thinking and resilience.
